How to apply for a course at your chosen institution

Applying for a place at your chosen university or school can be hard work, especially if you are applying to several institutions simultaneously. Thanks to the assistance of our experienced consultants, this can be a very simple and easy process. We will in fact take care of all the paperwork for you and keep you constantly informed of the progress of your application until you are successfully enrolled - and beyond. Just follow these three easy steps :

1. Choose your course and institution

Make an appointment with one of our consultants, who will give you all the information you need and help you select the course and institution which is most suitable for you. If you are applying for a place at a university, it is a good idea to apply to several institutions simultaneously in order to increase your chances of being accepted.

2. Apply for admission

We will complete the application forms and submit them to your chosen institution on your behalf. You will usually be required to provide supporting documents, such as :

  • certified copies of academic records and transcripts

  • proof that you can meet the institution’s English language requirements (IELTS or TOEFL certificate)

  • a recent résumé or curriculum vitae.

Please note that certified English translations of documents will usually be required.

Once you have been accepted, the institution will send you an « offer of place » that confirms your course details and the start date.

You will also receive an invoice, as you need to pay the tuition fees before you can apply for a visa. Payment can be made through Koru Education without any surchage or directly to the institution.

3. Apply for your student visa

We will take care of applying for your student visa on your behalf. You only need to provide us with the required documentation - check New Zealand visa requirements here.

Once your visa has been granted, your admission to your chosen institution will be confirmed. You can then start preparing for your departure, with the support of your Koru consultant.
