Faculty of Architecture and Design

The Faculty of Architecture and Design is a leading provider of innovative education across a wide selection of disciplines encompassing design and the built environment. Faculty of Education

Victoria's Faculty of Education is uniquely placed in the capital city to offer exceptional research-led teaching and learning. The Faculty of Education offers challenging and thought-provoking programmes to encourage students to put their study into practice. Students are equipped with the knowledge to critically and creatively carve their own path in the world of education.

Faculty of Engineering

Victoria's engineering programme is centred on the digital world, combining the best of electronics and software in a hands-on programme. Students get started straight away on practical projects while learning the theory. You could help make robots to explore damaged buildings, design large scale networks, develop mobile communication systems and much more.

Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences

Victoria’s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is the largest faculty of its type in New Zealand. Four of its subjects are ranked in the top 100 in the QS World University rankings. The Faculty offers a diverse range of courses in humanities and social sciences, including literature, languages, history, political science, sociology or music.

Faculty of Law

Located in the heart of Wellington’s legal and political district, next to the courts, Executive Government and Parliament, Victoria's Faculty of Law is in a privileged position to inform thinking and lead debate on legal, policy and governance issues. The vigorous and constant programme of conferences, public lectures and international visitors provides a stimulating and supportive learning environment.

Faculty of Science

The Faculty of Science is made up of five schools which offer excellent teaching and world-leading research programmes in a wide range of fields, from Biomedical Science to Environmental Studies to Applied Physics. Many subjects are unique to Victoria, including Physical Geography, Forensic Psychology and Marine Conservation.
